Lionel postwar 2-6-4 DIECAST STEAM LOCOMOTIVE 2018 - runs strong

For Sale: Vintage diecast metal 027 gauge model railroad engine and matching tender.

Runs strong in both forward and reverse. When tested with a Lionel 4150 transformer found that if you apply power once it will run forward. If you cut power then restart it will be in neutral. Cut power and restart again it will go in reverse. And so on... If you flip the switch on top of the locomotive then it will remain in whatever "gear" it's currently in no matter how many times you start and stop (neutral, forward, or reverse). Works reliably.  Headlight is working. Minor cosmetic paint wear to the finish only. Tender and locomotive have no apparent broken or missing parts, a bit dusty and can use some cleanup.
