For Sale: Some Girls and Tattoo You were tested and working well in my portable Granada tape player. The sound quality on these tapes was better then 90% of the other tapes I have been testing with good bass and highs. Speed sounded correct. Tracks switched correctly.
The Goats Head Soup tape worked kind of but there is too much tension on the tape for some reason so speed was off and playback was intermittent. If you know how to work on these you should be able to fix. Rollers all in good shape.
Please note due to their vintage nature all 8 track tapes are sold as is. Even if they test out OK on my Granada portable tape player they may need maintenance now or in the future including replacing foam pads, regluing splices, and replacing/regluing foil pieces. There are lots of web pages and YouTube videos that describe how to do this. All rollers should be in good shape with no stickiness unless otherwise mentioned.
