For Sale: Vintage large size collectible battery operated Chevy Camaro possibly 1983 model.
Made in Hong Kong, can't tell the original maker name. Shows very little wear and amazingly works 100%. Has moving light on the front and both flashing taillights are working. C battery operated motor moves it around on the floor and when it runs into an obstacle it will (most of the time) change direction and keep on moving. Battery compartment is clean and battery cover in good shape.
The unique feature on this is the swiveling mechanical front light and the siren type sound that is also created mechanically rather than electronically. The car body has a small compartment in the front that serves no purpose but looks like it was designed for a 9 volt battery and there is also a round spot on the chassis that looks like it was made for a speaker. My guess is that later models used electronics for the sound and light activation but this version use the older mechanical assembly to save money.
This reminds me of KITT from Night Rider TV show especially with the front lights, maybe was an attempted ripoff without paying copyright fees?

Am pretty sure not a lot of these survived especially in this good working condition. Bring to the car show with you when you display your vintage Z-28, amaze the youngsters by letting it drive around on the floor! All by itself with no driver!!!
