1940's 50's - STEAMPUNK - brass and metal spring/reverb speaker

For Sale: A work of functional art rendered in heavy cast brass with thick steel springs, geometically tied together with hemp fiber string.  (Note: may not actually be hemp!). 

This beautiful piece of metal was removed from a Baldwin model H Tone Cabinet which is the speaker for an organ. The tube powered amp it contained was probably made in  either 1941 or 1951 so assume this was made around the same time.  It is some kind of reverb assembly that attached to one to the 15" field coil speakers as shown in last two photos- speaker not included.   All I can think is that it would be great in some kind of steampunk setting.  What exactly I don't know but that's where you come in.  Rare rare rare.
