Genesis model II- STEREO SPEAKERS, 1970's- refoamed woofers & PR

For Sale:  Offering a rare set of USA made Genesis II floor speakers.  Made in NH. USA.

These work 100%, sound excellent, and have no issues.  The 8" woofers and 10" passive radiators have been refoamed in April 2014.  Cones have no rips, tears, holes, or voice coil rubbing.  Tweeters are original inverted dome design made famous by Epicure and EPI and Genesis.  Cabinets show minor wear, grills are original masonite, fabric shows some staining as is common with these.  No badges.  One of the speakers spring terminals is missing the red and black caps, they are still working fine. 

The woofers and PR's look original to me but when I took them out to refoam noticed woofers had LRS Electronics Model 0112 label on them- see last photos for details.  LRS is a company founded in 1987 by Huw Powell who worked for Genesis in the 1980's and took over parts supply after Genesis shut down in 1986.  Also known as Human Speakers- more info, specs, history, etc. here: http://www.humanspeakers.com/human/story.htm  The Model II was built in the mid 1970's so my guess is that in the late 1980's someone had the woofers replaced, reconed, or refoamed by Huw.  You can purchase replacement parts even today.  I'd still consider these speakers to be original but some purists might disagree.
