Kenwood KD-5033 - TURNTABLE - works but parts/repair, audiophile

(image for) Call for Price

For Sale: This legendary 1970's Japanese made turntable works to some extent but is missing all four feet and needs some adjustments. Being sold as-is for parts or repair.

Original feet are missing. No cartridge is included. Dust cover has hairline crack in it. Overall some cosmetic wear.

Appears to have original headshell. Original 45 RPM adapter is included. Motor runs smooth, strobe works, speed adjusters work. Auto features like play, cut, autoreturn, tonearm raise/lower, and record size selector all seem to be working well but the tonearm height is not set correctly. The two screws on the tonearm height mechanism were kind of tight so did not attempt to adjust, may be very simple.

Probably will work fine as-is for just manual use but I suspect when it reaches the end of the album and starts to autoreturn the tonearm height will be too low and the stylus would dray across the record. Didn't try it...

Video take with a cartridge in place to demo working condition:
