Matador LP vintage - BONGOS - drums w/stand, 8.5 & 7 inch, gold

For Sale: Offered are a set of older heavy Matador brand bongo drums and stand that was told were made by Latin Percussion LP probably in the 1970's.

Approx. 8.5" and 7" diameter tops. These appear to have their original hide skin heads. Both have their Matador badges and the logo is also stamped into the gold color metal rims. Am not a drummer but to me they sound great- very resonant, nice tone, loud too if you hit them hard. They show wear and the very thick wood bodies (oak?) have some hairline splits in them as seen in photos. None of the splits extend the entire length of the drum cylinder and the don't seem to be causing any problems or spreading. You could fill them in with some kind of sealant or wood glue but not necessary I think. The drums feel very solid.

Stand is original and has the Matador logo stamped into it. Minor comsmetic wear, very sturdy, no issues.
