The picture quality is pretty good for a basic PT IP camera- note there is a very small and usually unnoticeable slightly dimmer section towards the right hand side which you can usually only notice if the camera is in motion. I can't get it to show up in the listing photo screenshots.
Includes original AC adapter, manual, and wifi antenna. The firmware has just been updated to the newest version as of 12/30/21. All the controls including pan/tilt, email alerts, FTP, Wifi, etc can be accessed through the web browser on your phone, tablet, PC, or Mac computer using Chrome, Firefox, IE, etc. Does not come with CD disc software but you can get the free software from Foscam for recording, alarms, motion detection, alerts, etc. just check their website. Or you an use the free ZoneMinder or Ispy software available online.
Has IR LED lights for recording in total darkness, IR cut, Wireless B/G/N, motion detection, lots more.
Great for someone who wants an inexpensive camera for monitoring certain doorways, backyard through a window, inside the garage, etc. It's not weatherproof but might work outdoors in a place protected from rain and direct sunlight. I took a video of this covering the street in front of my house and demoing the pan and tilt features, will share video on request.
