Kawai Teisco - ELECTRIC GUITAR - vintage/rare. gold foil pickups

$170.00

For Sale: Vintage Japanese made guitar shows very little wear.

Not marked. Searched high and low on the internet to find maker and only found one identical guitar on Reverb which the seller identified as Kawai/Teisco manufactured. During the late 1960's 1970's were probably millions of guitars made in Japan from a several different manufacturers with hundreds of different brand names on them. Can't say definitively who made this one.

Guitar appears to be all original, untampered with, unmodified, and shows very little wear. If you look close you can see some small nicks and scratches but not bad at all. Neck is straight. No apparent fret wear. Both pickups and all controls working correctly. Seems to stay in tune pretty well- DEFINITELY needs new strings as the ones on it currently probably decades old. Distinctive tremolo mechanism, no tremolo bar when found.

Chromed metal pickguard. One tuner is a little bent out of shape but still turns OK, will let buyer address that if they want. Four bolt neck with backplate marked Japan. Thin lightweight body style. Action is pretty low no apparent string buzzing, can probably use a prof. setup and adjustment for maximum return. No case.
