RCA 2N591 - GERMANIUM TRANSISTOR 4 pcs. - made USA 1961, pnp

For Sale: Offered here are 4 used vintage RCA Germanium transistors pulled from an organ. They are marked RCA 2N591 FB.

If you want more let me know how many and will quote you a price.

The organ was first made around 1958 and some of the pots in it were stamped with 1961 date code so assume transistors are from the same year, maybe a little earlier. Organ had some issues but all the keys were working and tone was good. I assume that all or most of these transistors will be in good shape and in spec however it is always possible that one or more might have an issue. Am not an expert on these vintage components.

I carefully cut these out in a way that should give you the longest leads possible, if you want to try to remove any extra solder or just clip them up to you.

Should be good for guitar pedal distortion etc. effects projects that might benefit from Germanium rather than newer type components.
