Older 14" CYMBAL - hi hat? thin and wavy edge

Was being used as the bottom of a set of high hat cymbals. Not sure if this was made for hi hat use or not... Edge is not straight- wavy bends, no apparent dents or cracks. Dark patina. I got this with a set I think was from the late 1960's or early 1970's but not sure if the cymbals were bought at the same time.
