For Sale: "Treasure of Japanese Architecuture". All plastic construction model kit. Vintage model kit probably from the 1960's or 1970's. Made in Japan.

Yomeimon Gate

Designated a National Treasure - One of the most beautiful gates in Japan, Yomeimon Gate is said to have been given the name “Main Gate of the Imperial Court.” It is also called “Gate of the Setting Sun” because one could gaze upon it all day and never tire. It is covered with over 500 carvings depicting traditional anecdotes, children playing, sages and wise men.

Carefully checked and is 100% complete. All parts are present and in individually sealed bags. The box shows very little wear. The text in instruction manual and color painting guide is all in Japanese although the diagrams are pretty detailed and self explanitory. This kit is LONG out of production. High quality and very detailed.
