Tyco vintage model train CONEY ISLAND TROLLY - ho scale, powered

For Sale: These don't show much wear. No apparent broken or missing parts.

The motor runs and they will move in both forward and reverse but when put on track (see video below) they don't get seem to get much traction and move slowly. Not sure if it's because of the type of track or some other issue.
