Vintage framed NEEDLEPOINT PORTRAIT. boy with hat - folk art

This is one of a pair of framed needlepoints I found locally.

Have no idea of when it was made but if I had to guess I would say 1930's. For all I know it could have been made in the 1800's... It was professionally framed at some point and the framer's label say "Fine Art Pictures and Framers, John Wanamaker".

There appear to be several different types of stitching used, looks like it was done freehand, the colors are pretty bright, and the needlepoint appears to be in mint shape. I wouldn't call it professionally done. The glass has no cracks, frame and backing do show some wear.

Nice subject in my opinion. The other matching one is being listed separately and is of a girl- my guess is that they are of someone's children or grandchildren.
