For Sale- Tested and working 1990's Advent Legacy III floor speakers. Made in the USA.
Brand new foam surrounds have been professionally installed on the woofers in 2/2013 and they should be good for another 20+ years. Sound quality is great with excellent bass. All four drivers are original and in mint/near mint shape- tweeter domes are perfectly rounded and woofer cones are in good shape with no rips, tears, holes, or voice coil rubbing. Some wear on cabinets and grills, not to bad. The top and bottom pieces of wood are solid pecan so it should be easy to sand them down and refinish or stain if you are so inclined.
The cabinets are a slightly different size than the original Legacy and Legacy II lines. The other difference is that woofers which have two sets of terminals and there is a switch on the back for 6 or 8 ohm amplifiers. Not sure if the woofers have dual voice coils or there is some other way of switching the impedance. The Legacy III are the rarest of the Legacy line and I think they are the last ones produced.
