1960's GE - TUBE AMPLIFIER & TUNER CHASSIS, working

$50.00

For Sale:  Vintage tube amp and tube tuner removed from a small GE floor console system that had a record changer.

Radio and stereo amp worked well in the console.  Decent sound quality, good mono reception on FM and AM, good balance, tone, volume, tuning, and selector controls.  No static or hum, could get reasonably loud.  The tuner is only mono and there are jacks for adding an optional stereo MPX decoder.  There are two RCA plug cables for phono input and both channels tested good.  Drove two 6"x9" speakers.  Tubes are included and are as follows:

  • 2 35eh5
  • 1 12ax7
  • 1 50dc4
  • 1 6ez8
  • 2 6au6
  • 1 6ez8
  • 1 6ba6

Original knobs are included.  Email for additional/higher resolution photos.

Send your zip code for ship cost - should be between $9.99 and $21.99 if you are in the continental USA (listed August 2013).
