Singer 1953 - FEATHERWEIGHT SEWING MACHINE - complete, tested

For Sale: Very nice condition Singer 221 Featherweight sewing machine. Serial number is AL400397 which dates it to 1953.

The power cord has been been replaced with good quality wire and modern plug. A note in the case indicates the belt and light bulb are also newer replacements. Motor is smooth and speed control is working correctly. Very clean with very little wear. The plastic or Bakelite plug part that connects the power cord and speed control to machine has a glued hairline crack in it, still works fine and is not very noticeable.

Comes with original hard case in pretty nice shape, lots of accessories as shown, a photocopy of original manual, bobbins, new needles, some thread, etc.
