1966 CTS-15 inch RIBBED CONE SPEAKER, alnico magnet/guitar/organ

For Sale- This listing is for a classic CTS/Chicago Telephone Supply musical instrument speaker.

Excellent sound quality, no problems. Cosmetic condition is excellent as well. Rated 8 ohm impedance and I got approx.8 ohms DC resistance on it as well. Cone has no rips, tears, holes, or voice coil rub. Deep basket and good size alnico magnet.

This was removed from an Allen organ speaker enclosure and has treated accordion style paper surrounds so should make excellent replacements for vintage guitar and bass cabs. Marked "Custom Made for Allen Organ", 1376822 so I believe it was made in 1966 although it's possible it was made in 1968- depends on how they were doing that date code with these speakers. I believe this was rated 50 watts.
