Sony D-5A 1980's - PORTABLE CD PLAYER - w/AC-D50 dock, tested

For Sale: Classic early Sony CD player in good shape.

Made in Japan around 1985. Perfect sound quality, good vibration resistance, no skipping. Identifies discs quickly. All controls and LCD display work correctly. Includes matching AC-D50 dock with power supply and line out jacks. Very little wear on both.

Note: during testing I found this will play back almost all my audio CD's fine whether worn or in mint shape- but some discs it doesn't like and will either not play them at all or will only correctly identify the disc and play back some of the time. Not sure what the reason for this is and it does not seem to have anything to do with wear or scratches on the disc.
