80's Sharp GF-8989 - BOOMBOX radio/cassette for parts/repair

For Sale: Classic Ghetto Blaster Boombox... Shows wear and is missing battery cover. Heavy and high quality construction.

Works on FM stereo and sound quality/reception is pretty good. Did not pick up any signal on AM or SW bands.When you press Play, FF, RW, etc. on the cassette section it moves the tape and looks like it's working correctly but no sound comes out of the speakers.

Stereo indicator light works, signal strength lights work, and Dolby light works. The balance, volume, and tone controls are working but can use a cleaning with contact cleaner spray. Sold as-is for parts or repair.
