Panasonic RX-C45 - BOOMBOX GHETTO BLASTER -cassette AM FM stereo

For Sale: Classic boombox made in Japan probably 1980's.

Currently (12/2018) cassette Play no longer works when just retested. Needs belts... Price lowered to $40.

All original and excellent stereo sound quality. Good AM and FM reception. Cassette deck heads just cleaned and demagnetized- previsouly (around 7/2018) there was good sound with tape and speed sound correct with no warble or issues. FF, Pause, and Stop all work great. Rewind does not work and tape counter does not move- almost certainly putting new belts in will solve these minor issues with cassette.

This boombox has some high end features including Phono (turntable) inputs, line input, multi voltage switch (120vac, 240vac, etc), 13.8 volt DC auto power input, 5 band equalizer, and auto hookup speakers that don't require speaker cables.

Box shows some minor cosmetic wear, not bad. Both silver tweeter domes were somehow pushed in a bit but still work well and both bass and treble response is good. Battery compartment is in good shape, no corrosion. Some dust, can use some cleanup, not bad.
