One 1965 Sylvania 6SN7 GTA - VACUUM TUBE, long bottle

For Sale- Lot #7.  Tested and working legendary USA made Sylvania tube in nice condition.

 
This tube tested strong at 720/730.
 
Tested on a Hickok 799 tube tester- on this tester anything below 420 is considered bad and should be replaced.

 

Very rare type with long bottle and heavy top flashing. USA made with 1965 date code.  They were removed from a Allen organ and all have small dots of color on the top for identification from the previous owner.  All the tubes from the organ have the same codes which are G5M and  65 15 12.  I try to pair up tubes by the test results so these will match as closely as possible. Test results are written on sides of tubes with easily removable dry erase pen.

 

 
Organ manufacturers were able to buy the best quality/lowest noise tubes of the day and these are a good example.  You will hear what's been missing when you replace the modern tubes in your electric guitar amp or stereo system with these vintage classics.
