For Sale: Cleaned, tested, and working Japan made DC Servo stereo turntable.
Working 100%, excellent sound quality with rare high end Shure Pro8 phono cartridge. No distortion or hum. The Shure Pro8 cartridge is uncommon but you can still get replacement stylus needles for it online. The stylus that is installed is a genuine Shure ED stylus and it has excellent fully range sound quality, good bass and highs, no issues. They also made a similarly named Shure Pro 8 cart that is P-mount type so make sure not to confuse the two.
This is a semi automatic belt drive table and a brand new belt was installed March 2021. To play an album you make sure the cuing lever is in up position and manual move the tonearm over to the first track. The platter will start rotating. You lower the cuing lever and the tonearm very gently drops and album begins to play, at the end of the album the tonearm automatically raises, returns to holder, lowers, and powers off. Works reliably every single time. Both 33 and 45 RPM speeds sound correct. The Cut switch is working. Original 45 RPM adapter is included.
Table does not show much wear. Dust cover has minor wear but no apparent chips or cracks, good hinges.
