Garrard Model 1000 RECORD CHANGER player w/Lafeyette amp, repair

For Sale:  This is a pretty nice condition Garrard 1000 record changer and a Lafayette stereo amplifier, both of which need some work.

No phono cartridge is included.

The Garrard shows very little wear but needs lubrication and a tuneup- the original grease has dried up and become clumpy. The on/off switch works and the platter spins up- 78 rpm speed seems OK, 45 RPM is slow- closer to 33 RPM. 33 is very slow. The automatic features are not working.

The Lafayette amp works but one channel has issues- volume is very low. The channel that works has pretty good sound quality.

Sold as-is for parts or repair.
