For Sale: Excellent sounding 1980's Japanese made turntable.
The included high quality Empire 250 phono cartridge has an original needle and very good full range sound quality. Good bass and highs. No hum, distortion, or skipping. This is a semi automatic belt drive turntable and the belt is in good shape, both 33 and 45 RPM speeds are steady, strobe and pitch adjust are working correctly.
To play an album you push the cuing lever up, move the tonearm to the first track of the record, and lower the cuing lever. The tonearm gently drops and album plays to the end, tonearm automatically raises up, returns to holder, lowers, and the table powers off. Autoreturn works reliably every time.
The turntable is clean and pretty nice condition, very little wear. The dust cover is not original and there are no hinges, so to play an album you lift it off and replace it once the album is playing. It's a little bit larger than the original but works well to keep dust off. It shows wear (see photos) on the inside cover, you could probably buff it out if you know how. Or if you can find the original dust cover you will have a complete classic table in very nice shape.

NOTE: the camera I used to record the videos has poor audio capabilities- in person the sound quality is good.
