Pioneer QX-4000 - STEREO QUAD RECEIVER - excellent shape, tested

For Sale: Rare tested and working Japanese made stereo and quadrophonic receiver from the early 1970's.

Nice condition with very little wear. Appears all original and untampered with. Good sound quality on all channels with no hum or distortion. Good FM stereo reception and the stereo indicator lamp is working. All the backlights and indicator lights (Phono, Aux, etc) are working. The VU meter is working as is it's backlight. The front face and dial are in mint or near mint shape ,very little wear on wood cabinet.

All inputs were checked and are working correctly. All three sets of speaker outputs checked good. The discrete 4 channel inputs were tested and are working.

This receiver used plug in speaker terminals and none are included. You can still just push your speaker wires into the slots and they will stay in place unless you move your receiver around. Heavy gauge speaker wires work best for this. Or you can purchase the plug in terminals online.
