JVC SX-ST1 stereo SUBWOOFER AMPLIFIER chassis, tested

Tested and working subwoofer and Dolby Pro Logic stereo speaker amplifier chassis with control panel and display.

This was originally housed in a medium size floor cabinet along with a speaker. The cabinet had been abused and was in poor shape- the speaker sounded good but if you turned it all the way up the plastic parts on the case would vibrate. I decided to part it out. In addition to the output for the subwoofer speaker this also has a stereo amplifier for two standard stereo speakers. I cut out the control panel and display which has pushbutton volume controls, power switch, input selector, and Mode switch. The mode switch selects home theater types like Theater, Arena, Dolby Surround, etc.

The amp also has unpowered line outputs for a Center Channel Speaker and Surround. All features appear to be working correctly. The unit is pretty heavy, not sure of the power rating but it could get loud. No distortion, hum, or issues.
