Koss Dyna Mite M/80 Plus - STEREO SPEAKERS - 100 watt, bookshelf

For Sale: Legendary Koss mini powerhouse speakers in excellent working condition.

The 6 drivers are all in mint shape except one of the tweeters which shows some dings to the dome- see photos. That tweeter still works well and I can't tell the difference in sound between it and the mint condition one. Cabs and grills some wear but are solid. Sound quality is excellent. All four woofers have firm surrounds and cones with no rips, tears, holes, or voice coil rubbing.

Rated 100 watt 6 ohm nominal, 4 ohm minimum. 8 ohm is OK too.

They were manufactured in the mid to late 80's and weren't the only speakers they offered. I believe these were the smallest. They also offered subwoofers and at least two "larger versions of this type of speaker, which were 6 1/2" and 8" woofers instead of 4 1/2. Unfortunately Koss doesn't make these or anything remote to home audio speakers anymore. I remember the sound was very good throughout its range. Surprisingly, even the bass was very good, considering 4 1/2" woofers. They make excellent home theater speakers as they are magnetically shielded.
