For Sale: Classic high quality 1980's stereo receiver with classic 1970's Pioneer three way speakers. All made in Japan.
These show some minor cosmetic wear but work well. Excellent old school sound quality with great dynamic range. Receiver gets excellent FM stereo reception and the stereo indicator light is working. All controls, switches, features, dials, display, etc. appear to be working correctly. No hum, no distortion. All inputs and all speaker outputs checked and are working correctly.
Speakers have excellent sound quality, pumping bass, no distortion. They match up quite well with the SR-2A. Woofers and mids have good surrounds, cones have no rips, tears, voice coil rubbing, etc. The tweeters have crumbly foam surrounds like all these get over time and these- since tweeters don't have a wide range of movement the sound quality does not seem to be effected, even at high volumes the high frequency response is quite good. If you want you can get these refoamed from a service on ebay but in my opinon it's not necessary.
