1960's HomeCo Porcelain FIGURE - J. Morie HARVEST TIME GIRL

Nice shape, well made. In mint or near mint shape. Delicately painted features, very well done. About 10 3/4" high.

Some research indicates this was made by HomeCo which is still in business today. When I got this it was mounted in an old lamp setting (see last photo) with a matching Harvest Time Boy which I will be selling separately. Back is marked J. Morie and it's obviously based on Morie's bronze Harvest Time Girl sculpture. Mark on the bottom is crossed arrows with 4 feathers which is HomeCo mark- their pieces were made in Japan, Korea, and other parts of Asia. There is also the remains of an import label which I can't read. The lamp this came with is also available for no extra charge, not sure if it works. It has a cast metal base.
