Vintage 1968 helmet STADIUM ZEE-90, motorcycle/ski- Britain

Nice vintage helmet. No cracks, some paint wear but not bad- it's in decent but not mint condition. Some of the foam underneath the cloth has crumbled, some is still in good shape. Fabric and straps are in good condition. The stadium decals are in good shape. Inside the helmet is blue patch marked Stadium ZEE-90, Made in Britain for the USA SNELL Z90 1 - 1966 A.M.A. M.S. & A.T.A. APPROVED.

There is also a separate round sticker marked 1968 APPROVED FOR SKI USE ONLY Serial No. 5027 SNELL Memorial Foundation.The number 8 can be seen stamped inside the helmet which I believe is the size. I would say it's a large or extra large- I have a big head and the helmet fits me comfortable.

I asked a collector about this and he told me Stadium made helmets for ski use that were exactly the same as their motorcycle helmets.
