$65.00

For Sale: Newtonian Reflecting Telescope with Parabolic First Surface Mirror. 100mm Diameter, 400mm focal length, f/4.0.

Excellent near mint shape. This has a removable rotating TableTop type stand, a tested/working "laser dot" EZ Finder II with good battery, a 10mm lens, a 20mm lens, a 13% moon filter, and various dust caps and lens accessories. Works great, easy to use, super clean, very powerful despite it's relatively small size. Well made. You can also easily remove it from the base and use a standard camera tripod instead of the table top stand.

From the Orion website:
-------------------------
Although perfect for beginning stargazers, this tabletop reflector telescope is not a toy! With its substantial, 100mm aperture parabolic primary mirror boasting a 400mm focal length, the compact Orion SkyScanner 100mm TableTop Reflector telescope will amaze you and your family with gorgeous, detailed views of the night sky.

With this capable reflector, you can study the Moon's cratered surface in detail, exploring highland mountains and vast, planar lunar "seas" of dark material. Bright planets like Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars shine bright in the SkyScanner 100mm Reflector, even when viewing from urban locations with mediocre seeing conditions. On especially clear evenings when viewing from areas with dark skies, the pint-sized Orion SkyScanner telescope can gather enough light for views of open and globular star clusters, bright cloudy nebulas, and even a few distant galaxies.

Set the compact SkyScanner 100mm TableTop Reflector on table in the back yard, or even on the hood of your car in the backcountry, and comfortably view the heavens to your heart's content. Thanks to its small stature, the SkyScanner makes a great grab-and-go telescope for road trip adventures, camp-outs, and just carrying to the local park.

You get quality 20mm and 10mm 4-element eyepieces with the SkyScanner 100mm

Start with the 20mm eyepiece to see a wide view with 20x magnification. Once you've centered an object in the 20mm eyepiece, swap in the 10mm eyepiece to boost the magnification up to 40x. Both eyepieces have threaded barrels to allow use of Orion filters, including the glare-reducing Moon filter that comes with the telescope.
