Singer 1949 Featherweight 221 - SEWING MACHINE - w/case, access

For Sale:  Tested and working classic Featherweight serial number AJ228789 with extras.

Runs smooth, good foot pedal speed control, newer belt, newer cord and plug, feet look newer. The light works. Shows very little wear. Includes original case, case key, manual, lots and lots of extra needles, lots of original accessories, and extra misc. sewing items as shown.

One thing that makes this set special is that is has the original bill of sale as well as hand typed/hand signed letters from Singer company, payment vouchers, and other paperwork.  Was purchased by Miss Nell Roy of Bridgeport Ct. on May 10, 1950 for $145 plus tax, down payment of $45 with $17.83 due each month. But it looks like Nell paid it off early... Good for Nell!
