General Electric Super Midget - SM PH FLASHBULBS - 84 bulbs, new

For Sale: Here are 84 G.E. GE SM PH flashbulbs in great shape. Some original packaging is included as shown but the paper is crumbly due to age.

Some research found these are Speed Midget 5000 lumen single contact bayonet base bulbs. Unlike many flashbulbs they have a primer mixture coated on two leads that ignite in a O2 oxygen atmosphere within the bulbs. Voltage required is 3 volts or more.

I tested one bulb (there were original 85) by applying 3.5 volts DC and of course it worked perfectly. The last photo in the listing shows the used bulb and an unused one for comparison. The used one is cloudy.

Possible use is for movie prop in Graflex Speed Graphic Crown Press Cameras.
