This is a combo cable modem, dual band WiFi wireless router, gigabit wired router, and voice/VOIP telephone unit. Option for battery backup. It's a Arris model TG862/CT made for Comcast/Xfinity users who want to stop renting from Xfinity. Easy to setup you can just attach to your cable and it will take you to Xfinity registration page where it asks for you info to register the new modem.  Since this is an "Xfinity" branded model you can also call Comcast and they will help you if there are any setup issues.

Will pay for itself in about 5 months...
