1989 Scrabble DELUXE EDITION- w/red tiles, rotating turntable

Lot #19. Complete with rotating turntable, 100 red wood tiles/embossed white lettering, drawstring cloth tile bag, instructions, full or near full pad of score sheets, 4 wood tile holders, misc. paperwork, etc.

Box shows some wear and tape residue, contents are all in MINT or NEAR MINT shape. This board is better quality and heavier duty then the ones they are currently making for Scrabble Deluxe- the cheaper versions weigh about half as much and don't use a solid base.

Turntable board can swivel around as each player takes his/her turn, and the tiles won't move around the board even if it gets knocked (or the cat walks across it) because they lock into place. If you play Scrabble often you will wonder how you survived without a Scrabble Deluxe Edition.
