For Sale: Working perfectly and sounding excellent legendary open air Sennheiser Precision HD580 stereo headphones.
Open-air, dynamic, diffuse-field–compensated circumaural headphones. Transducer principal: dynamic diaphragm. Frequency response: 12Hz–38kHz ±3dB. THD: <0.1%. Nominal impedance: 300 ohms. Sensitivity at 1kHz: 97dB. Headband pressure: approximately 2.5 Newtons.

When I got these the headband cushion was pretty much flattened and the earpads showed a fair amount of wear. And the cable that came with them was not original and one side had an intermittent short.
So I purchased a new GENUINE Sennhieser cable with 1/4" stereo plug (see photo of packaging) for $60. Picked up some good quality soft fabric earpads and a headband cushion which were very simple to install. These have been used for less than an hour since the new parts were purchased. The original earpads are still usable and will include with the set, see photos.
The headphones themselves are in mint or near mint shape and sound very very good. No issues. Including a .35mm adapter for use with devices that don't use 1/4" stereo plug like MP3 players, phones, etc. You can also get a cable with .35mm jack and it will easily plug into the headphones.
