This model features free Lifetime Map and Traffic updates. It's just been updated to the newest North America 2024 map set on 2/28/23. Included is a 16GB Micro SD memory card with a lot of free space on it for future updates. Since the box was open when found I charged it up and tested all the features. It's perfect.
The best thing about this model is the "Voice Command" feature. It allows you to perform many tasks like entering an address just by speaking- no need to use the touchscreen. To find an address you just say "Voice command" and the GPS responds audibly with "Say a Command!". You say "find address" and the GPS responds "speak an address in United States". Say the full address with house number, city, state, and zip code and very very reliably the unit will locate the correct address and ask if you want to navigate to it. You can also say "view map, recently found, find intersection, volume, brightness, and more". Saying "Exit" will exit you from Voice Command mode.
This model also has BlueTooth, smartphone link, trip planner, and more built in apps. The Traffic feature will provide you with real time traffic update and warning reports so you can avoid accidents, traffic jams, construction delays, etc.
