All original double cutaway H-53 Rocket model made in 1970 in the USA.
Very very nice condition- it's in mint or near mint shape in my opinion. The only wear I see is a very small crack in the pickguard that's been glued- replacement pickguards are still available for this guitar for about $25.00 Looks like it was carefully stored in someone's closet for the past 40 years or so.
No apparent dings to the finish. Very solid, no cracks, no apparent fretwear. Neck appears straight, nice low action with about 1/8" adjustment lower still available at the bridge. No string buzz and stays in tune well. Sounds fantastic hooked up to an amp and all the electronics work perfectly. Great feel, easy to play, very lightweight. Am going to guess this has never been adjusted or set up since it left the factory 41 years ago so a professional setup will probably have this playing even better for potentially amazing return. Includes the original DeArmond "mustache" gold pickup which usually sell in the $100+ range.
Comes with original case in pretty nice shape. When I got this there was some paperwork from the original owner, some vintage sheet music with dated receipt, and some other interesting ephemera which will be kept with the guitar.
Send your zip code for ship cost- should be between $19.95 and $34.95 if you are in the continental USA (Nov. 2012).
