For Sale: Tested and working set of classic Pioneer stereo speakers.
These show a fair amount of wear and are "diamonds in the rough". Grill cloth has small holes and snags, cabinets are solid but show wear and scratches. However they work 100% and have excellent sound quality. The grills are not designed to be removable (although am sure you could pry them off if you wanted) so I took the backs off to check the drivers and make sure the surrounds on the woofers were in good shape. Woofers use treated textile foam surrounds so they won't need replacing like foam surrounds eventurally do. All 4 drivers are tested and working, no problems. They appear to be designed as bookshelf speakers or to hand on the wall with the built in keylock hangers- only require one heavy duty screw to hang.
Lots of bass, excellent treble, no issues. Well constructed with heavy wood structure. From the web:
