For Sale: Tested and working legendary white Minimus 7 speakers... Radio Shack Cat. No. 40-2045
Working perfectly. Excellent sound quality, no problems. Minor cosmetic wear to the paint, not that bad. Metal cases and grills. One woofer surround had some small separation apparently due to mistreatment- the speaker sounded fine as-is but I patched from the back with some flexible tacky glue just to be sure there would be no issues. It was hard to notice before the repair and still looks fine unless you look real closely.
Rated 40 watt, 8 ohm. Two way speakers . Surrounds on woofers are rubber and will never rot and have to be replaced like foam surrounds eventually will. Cones have no rips, tears, holes, or voice coil rubbing. One tweeter textile dome has a small ding in it but does not affect sound quality. Surprising amount of bass from a small package. I was told that these are often used as budget monitors for studios because "if the mix sounds good on these then they will sound good on any speakers".
