Vintage GERMANIUM TRANSISTORS for electric guitar pedal projects

For Sale:  Lot of three vintage transsistors, untested. 

Assumed to be germainium type.  Removed from vintage organ most likely made in the early 1960's.  Almost all of these are marked with white paint for some reason.  They have markings that are pretty hard to read on top- but they just look like date codes and not manufacturer names.  For example one says 2N IE EX, another says 4N IE SX, another 3X IE 23.
