Criterion VI - 3 inch SUPER TWEETER SPEAKERS - made in Japan

Matched set of high quality dome super tweeter drivers removed form a set of Criterion VI home stereo floor speakers. Made in Japan probably 1970's.  

These feature alnico magnets and what appear to be mylar domes.  In the VI's they were used as super tweeters- not sure if they will only reproduce the highest frequencies or if they would also cover some of the lower frequencies with a different crossover capacitor.  Marked CR-VI Tweeter Imp. 8 ohm., Japan.   I got approx. 5.1 ohms DC resistance each on my meter.   These work well, no issues.   The frames are approx. 3 1/8" in diameter.  

They soldered one of the terminal connectors onto each of these and I accidentally broke a terminal off ONE of these before I realized it...  So you will have to solder a wire on to connect that one tweeter.

The Criterion VI were large speakers each with 12" cast frame woofer, one midrange, two cone tweeters, and two mylar dome tweeters.  Rated 50 watt music power.
