Connection choices are streaming from internet or local PC, bluetooth, and Aux. wired connection via a standard 3.5mm headphone jack connector. Uses the free Bose SoundTouch app (Apple, Android, Windows, and Mac versions) to stream wireless music from hundreds of thousands of internet radio stations or the streaming service of your choice.
The Bose app is very well done and makes it very easy to choose local or worldwide stations and add them to your 6 preset buttons which can be accessed by pressing a button on top of the unit or with remote control. I used the app to select North America, New Jersey, Trenton area, and added local stations WPRB from Princeton University and WTSR from College of NJ, some Philly stations, WHYY, etc. Now you can just choose your music or podcast from the speaker or remote with one touch, no need to use the app. With the app you can add more Bose speakers to your setup and choose left/right speakers for stereo sound, or other options for different rooms, outdoors, etc.
Includes original Bose remote which has a good battery. All buttons tested good. Manual is available online or can email you a copy. YouTube video taken to demo working condition will share on request.
