1950's Philco bakelite 51-1330 TUBE RADIO/PHONOGRAPH - repair

For Sale:  Vintage all tube record player and radio for parts or repair.  

Record player is a Webster model 100-1.

The Bakelite case is in pretty nice shape with no apparent chips or cracks.  Hinges work fine and lid stays up.  Powers up fine and dial lights work but no sound from built in speaker.  There is a 1/4" speaker jack on the back and when a speaker is hooked up to the jack you can hear static and hum but that is all.   The record player spins on at least two speeds but something is rubbing so there is a little noise- probably needs some lubrication.  It moves fast at 78 RPM speed and motion is strong.  The changer tonearm moves but it is straining a bit.   Power switch works, moving tuner dial moves the tuning indicator needle.  A quick look at the bottom shows that all tubes are present, most or all are Philco branded and may be original.
