Pioneer PL-230 - STEREO TURNTABLE - record player w/new stylus

For Sale: Tested and working classic Japanese made turntable.

Working 100%, no issues. A brand new Swiss made Pfanstiehl 710-D7 stylus is included- only has about 3 minutes play time on it from testing. The last two listing photos show the new needle.

Fully automatic which means to play a record you just press the start button. The tonearm raises up, moves to the first track, gently lowers, and plays the entire record. At the end of record the tonearm automatically raises up, moves back to holder, lowers, then powers off. Unless Repeat is on in which case it plays over and over again.

Belt in good shape and the strobe shows speed is very steady for both 33 and 45 RPM. Base is made out of metal which adds weight and stability. Shows some cosmetic wear mainly on dust cover but no apparent chips or cracks. The cover can be buffed out if you have the knowledge. There is a small dimple in the rubber platter mat near the spindle but it does not cause any issues.
