Bang & Olufsen B&O BEOGRAM 3400 TURNTABLE w/ MMC 20EN cartridge

For Sale: Tested and working classic B&O turntable record player. Made in Denmark 1970's.

The MMC 20EN has a good stylus and sound quality is good. No skipping, hum, or distortion. Autostart and autostop are working correctly, the Pause button (raises tonearm/cuing) works correctly, both 33 and 45 RPM speeds sound correct, LED indicator lights are working. This is belt drive and the belt is in good shape. All the control buttons work correctly except "Turn" which I don't know what is supposed to do but pressing it seems to have no effect.

Dust cover has no apparent chips or cracks, minor signs of wear only. The platter has some cosmetic wear to the black coating. The woodgrain veener is missing a few small parts, see photos for details.

The value here is all in the cartridge in my opinon. I'd be happy to sell you just the cartridge but no discount except for free shipping as long as you are in the continental USA. Not sure how many hours are on it but it sounds good to me- full range, good highs and lows, etc.
