Record cleaner - CAMEL HAIR BRUSH - vintage 1950's, cast base

For Sale:  This vintage brush came with a vintage Scott 710 turntable in a floor console. Everything in the console was late 1950's manufacture so assume this brush is too.

Think it's camel hair but not positive. Bristles are soft. Adjusts and locks in place correctly. Cast iron type base has some kind of non slip coating on the bottom that is crumbly over they years, can be cleaned off and replaced with felt or rubber or ???
