For Sale: Classic Pioneer dual stereo cassette tape recorder / player.
Just refurbished- on 8/17/23 all four belts were replaced. Tape heads and paths were cleaned and demagnetized. Fully tested by doing dubbing tape from player to recorder, working perfectly, excellent sound quality, no issues on either A or B side. If you are thinking of buying a cassette deck keep in mind that all vintage decks with rubber belts will need to be replaced sooner or later. Even if everything seems to be good it's just a matter of time with an older deck.
Shows some minor cosmetic wear but not bad. The display is pretty dim and hard to see in bright light but it's working, tape counters are good. Auto-reverse on both sides is working correctly. All controls working. Including a Maxell XL IIS 90 minute tape that can be recorded on, a TDK tape that can be recorded on, and a tape "The Great Radio Comedians Vol. 55 The Return of Baby Snooks" originally from the 1940's. Also including a set of RCA interconnect cables and a cable with a stereo 3.5mm plug on one end and RCA plugs on the other.
