Pioneer CS-53 - STEREO SPEAKERS - 2 way made in Japan, large

For Sale: Set of classic 1970's bass reflex home stereo speakers about halfway between the size of typical bookshelf speakers and floor speakers.

Working 100%, all original. Rated 8 ohm, 40 watt. Classic 1970's sound quality and you don't need a high power amplifier to get the most out of them. No distortion. All four drivers use Alnico magnets and the woofers have textile surrounds so won't need replacing like foam surrounds eventually do.

Cabinets have some minor wear and small veneer issues mostly along back, not bad at all- they display well. One unique feature is that in addition to regular speaker terminals they have 1/4" jack inputs too.

For use in most rooms, the CS-53 is powerful enough to provide full, rich sound. It features a 300mm woofer and 90mm tweeter ans has outstanding performance in the important mid range and bass range. Finish is subdued oiled walnut.
